870 marginalized youth (54% women) were trained in their choice of skills during the year 2017-18 and provided placement assistance.
59 women of small holder families of Coastal Villages were trained on fish farming, freshwater prawn culture, culture of Milk fish, crab fattening & Gray Mullet culture during 2017-18

Aabahana is networking media professionals including journalists, student and aspiring journalists and bare foot journalists to contribute stories and best practices on the theme of climate change impact on the coastal vulnerable communities.

70 youth working as barefoot journalists (60% women) were trained on creative story writing, social communication and digital story telling on the theme of climate change impact on livelihood of indigenous people’s communities.
