Community Based Peer Led Intervention for Early Adolescents(CPLI), Sankarakhol, Dist: Kandhamal

We are also running this CPLI programme in schools ,colleges & in tribal villages by taking early adolescents in Kandhamal district by our own and our office is situated at Kaladi, Kandhamal. This district is tribal dominated and Nuxalite affected interior district. 93 % population of this district are tribals. Poverty & intoxication is a major problem for this district. Addiction starts in early adolescent ages between 13-20 years in tribal society. Addiction creates social & economic crisis here. So group counseling meetings, awareness street play, individual counseling, role play activity, competitions etc. are done by taking the early adolescents of this district. Previously it was run in the name Drug Awareness for Early Adolescents, but now it is CPLI.
